The society has instituted a scheme called the "Members Family Medical Aid" scheme, for which a fund will be constituted. Under the category of serious illnesses, after Bosch Management Payment and crossing Rs. 5 lakh expenses, the Society will cover expenses up to a maximum of Rs. 1,50,000 for in-patient and follow-up treatments.
Diseases Covered : Cancer, Kidney ailments, Dialysis, Heart diseases, and Neuro-related diseases.
Coverage For : This scheme provides coverage for the member, spouse, and unmarried children below 25 years of age. Parents are not covered under this scheme.
Period : For a maximum period of 3 years from the date of enrolment.
Registration : To avail the benefits under the scheme, the required member must register by submitting a prescribed form with details of the disease, along with the opinion of Bosch's Chief Doctor.
Submission of Claim forms : Members are required to incur the expenses first and then submit the bills for reimbursement, along with all supporting medical documents. Alternatively, they can submit the bills while receiving in-patient treatment to directly settle the payment with the hospital.
Committee Decisions : The committee members and Chairman will scrutinize the bills for payment. After necessary approval, they will forward the bills for payment to the Society.
Board's Sanctions : The bills forwarded from the committee will be sanctioned in the Board of Directors meeting.
Fund for FMA : A nominal amount of Rs. 10 will be deducted from each member's salary every month to contribute to the fund for FMA (Family Medical Aid).
