Assistance to Members Exceptional Children Scheme (AEC)

Society operates scheme called “Assistance to Members Exceptional Children” scheme and for this purpose it will constituted fund.

Under this scheme member’s children who are Physically or Mentally Retarded are given financial assistance by way of Hospitalization, Medication, Schooling, Transportation, rehabilitation and purchase of equipments.

Coverage : Coverage for member’s children who are physically and mentally retarded is covered under this scheme.

1 Consultation / Physiotherapy / Speech Therapy / Healing horses. Max Ceiling Rs. 6,000/- Per Annum or Rs. 500/- Per Month.
2 Laboratory / X-ray Max Ceiling Rs.12,000/- Per Annum.
3 Hospitalization / Medicine Charges Max Ceiling Rs.15,000/- Per Annum.
4 School Admission Charges Max Ceiling Rs.3,500/- Per Annum.
5 Tuition / School Fees Max. Rs. 500/- Per Month or
Rs. 6,000/- Per Annum.
6 Conveyance/Transport 1. Rs. 400/- Per Month for Physically Handicapped.
2. Rs. 500/- Per Month for Mentally Retarded.
7 Purchase of Equipment Cost Max.Rs. 10,000/- Once in 2 year.
8 One Time Benifit * Rs. 10,000/- will be paid at the time of exit from the scheme


Registration : Every member who wants to avail the benefit under the scheme have to register in a prescribed form giving details of nature of ailment and submitting consultant opinion in this regard.

Submission of claim forms : Members are required to incur the expenses first and submit the bills for reimbursement with prescription within three months period.

Committee Decisions : Once in a month the A E C committee will scrutinize the bills for payment. After necessary approval they will forward the bills for payment to the Society.

Board's Sanctions:
The bills forwarded from A E C committee will be sanctioned in the Board of Directors meeting and necessary approval will be provided.

Fund for A E C : Every month required amount will be sanctioned by the Board of Directors from the Fund accumulation appropriated from Society’s profit on every year.

Annual Get-together: Family members along with the physically and mentally challenged children will be organized in Bosch Sports Club or in any one of the nearest resort in Bangalore once in a year with all other committee members, directors and staff of MECS.

Supervisory Committee: Headed by Mr. Ashish Kumar Jain as a Chairman of this committee along with other 9 committee members.
