Our members understand that the term "co operative" means working together with others for a common purpose. The Co-operative Society is a voluntary association of individuals who join together intending to extend financial assistance in the event of need for the welfare of the members and their families.
The need for a cooperative movement was felt among the employees of Bosch, earlier known as MICO (Motor Industries Company Ltd.), in 1962. The employees established "The Mico Employees' Co-operative Society Ltd" on 09-04-1962 (Regd. No. 6/ARB of 09-04-1962).
Our society functions based on the sound principles of cooperation governing the rules and regulations of the Karnataka Cooperative Societies Act and according to the directions of the Department of Cooperation. We have successfully provided over 62 years of dedicated service to our members, and have retained classification under "A" Grade as per the Cooperative Society Audit classification throughout these years.
The logo of our society is "Kamadhenu." Kamadhenu is the divine cow that fulfills all our wishes. She is often portrayed as the mother of other cattle and provides health, wealth, happiness, and growth in life. On the same principle, Kamadhenu, our society, strives to provide all possible financial benefits and various welfare facilities to its members and their families in several aspects. Accordingly, "Kamadhenu" was chosen as the logo of the society.
